Off-chain exchange

Exchange funds between your wallets in Volet.com: fiat to crypto, crypto to fiat, crypto to crypto, or fiat to fiat.

Exchanges happen within the Volet.com platform and do not involve blockchain transactions. Unlike on-chain swaps, you do not need a crypto wallet, gas fees, or blockchain confirmations.

How to exchange​

  1. Open the Exchange tab.
  2. Select the source and destination currencies -- for example, USD to USDT, or BTC to EUR.
  3. Enter the amount.
  4. The exchange rate and the amount you will receive are displayed.
  5. Review the details and confirm the exchange before the rate expires.

The exchange is processed instantly. Both wallet balances update immediately.

Exchange rate validity​

Exchange rates are locked for 30 seconds.

If the quote expires or the market rate changes significantly, a new rate will be displayed and you will need to review and confirm the transaction again.

Buying and selling crypto​

Buying crypto (for example, using USD to purchase BTC) and selling crypto (converting BTC back to USD) use the same exchange mechanism. Open your fiat wallet and select the crypto you want to buy, or open your crypto wallet and select the fiat currency you want to receive.

Fees​

Volet.com does not charge a separate fee for standard wallet exchanges. The exchange rate shown before confirmation already reflects the applicable conversion rate.

Limits​

Exchange limits depend on your account type, verification status, and the currencies involved.

The minimum and maximum available amounts are displayed directly on the exchange form before you confirm the transaction.
