Mass payouts overview

Volet.com lets you send payouts to recipients worldwide through Volet.com accounts and external crypto wallets, with support for fiat, stablecoins, and cryptocurrencies depending on the payout method.

Choose between custodial and non-custodial payout models depending on where funds are stored, how payouts are authorized, and who controls the assets.

Recipients can receive payouts:

  • To a Volet.com account.
  • To an external crypto wallet.

Custodial mass payouts​

With custodial payouts, funds are sent from your Volet.com account.

Volet.com manages payout execution, automatic currency conversion, and supported payout methods, while your application creates payout requests through the API.

You can send payouts from any supported balance in your account. For example, you can fund your account in USD or EUR and automatically send payouts in USDT, BTC, ETH, or another supported cryptocurrency. You can also send cryptocurrency directly from your crypto balances without conversion.

For supported stablecoins, Volet.com uses unified balances across supported blockchain networks. For example, you can receive or hold USDT on Ethereum and later send payouts from the same balance on Tron, BNB Chain, Polygon, Arbitrum, Optimism, Avalanche, Solana, TON, or another supported network without bridging or maintaining separate balances for each network.

Before you start​

  • To use custodial mass payouts, you need a verified Volet.com account. See Business verification or Personal verification. Compare account types: Business vs Personal.
  • After verification, create a Merchant API in the Payment Tools section of your dashboard.
  • No additional approval is required to use the Mass Payout API.

How it works​

  1. Fund your Volet.com account. See Add funds.
  2. Create payout requests through the API.
  3. Volet.com validates recipient information and processes payouts.
  4. Recipients receive funds through the selected payout method.

Recipients can receive payouts:

  • To an external crypto wallet.
  • To their Volet.com account.

Payouts to Volet.com accounts support all currencies for which Volet.com wallets are available, including:

Payouts to external crypto wallets support cryptocurrencies and stablecoins, including:

You can create payouts directly from the same cryptocurrency or automatically convert funds from another supported balance in your Volet.com account before the payout is sent.

Recipient withdrawals​

Recipients who receive funds to their Volet.com account can later:

  • Withdraw to a bank account, where supported.
  • Withdraw to a debit or credit card.
  • Withdraw cryptocurrency to an external wallet.
  • Exchange between supported currencies before withdrawing.

Fees​

Processing fees start from:

  • 0.25% for crypto payouts.
  • 0.5% for transfers to Volet.com accounts.

Non-custodial mass payouts​

With non-custodial mass payouts, payout transactions are executed directly from your own wallet through a smart contract.

Volet.com provides the smart-contract infrastructure while your funds remain under your control throughout the payout process.

How it works​

  1. Prepare a payout batch.
  2. Connect the sender wallet.
  3. Review and sign the payout transaction.
  4. The smart contract distributes funds directly to recipient wallets.
  5. Your application tracks the transaction status on-chain.

Automated on-chain payouts​

Non-custodial mass payouts are well suited for automated blockchain applications, autonomous AI agents, and machine-to-machine payment flows.

Because payouts are executed directly from the sender's wallet through a smart contract, there is no custodial balance, manual withdrawal process, or intermediary fund management.

This makes the solution suitable for automated reward distribution, affiliate commissions, treasury operations, payroll, and other high-volume on-chain payout workflows.
