Send custodial crypto payouts
Send cryptocurrency payouts from your Volet.com account to external crypto wallets through the Mass Payout API.
Recipients do not need a Volet.com account. They receive funds directly to their own crypto wallet on the selected blockchain network.
Custodial crypto payouts are sent from your Volet.com account. Volet.com manages payout execution, optional currency conversion, and blockchain transaction processing.
Why use custodial crypto payouts
Custodial crypto payouts let you send funds globally without requiring recipients to register for a Volet.com account.
This payout method is useful when your recipients prefer to receive funds directly to their own crypto wallets, exchanges, or wallet apps.
It is particularly useful for:
- Freelance and contractor payouts
- Creator and affiliate payouts
- Gaming and reward programs
- Marketplace seller payouts
- Partner and commission payouts
You can fund your Volet.com account in fiat, stablecoins, or cryptocurrency, and send payouts in supported cryptocurrencies. Automatic conversion is available where supported.
How it works
The payout flow:
- Fund your Volet.com account.
- Create a crypto payout request through the API.
- Provide the payout currency, amount, recipient wallet address, and blockchain network where required.
- Volet.com validates the payout details and processes the transaction.
- Funds are sent to the recipient's external crypto wallet.
- Your application retrieves the payout status and transaction details through the API.
Crypto payouts are processed on-chain. Final delivery time depends on the selected blockchain network, network conditions, and confirmation requirements.
Before you start
To send custodial crypto payouts, you need:
- A verified Volet.com account.
- A configured API in the Payment Tools section.
See Enable mass payouts to set up your API.
How to fund your Volet.com account
You can add funds to your Volet.com account using supported funding methods, including:
- Bank transfers, where available.
- Card payments, where available.
- Cryptocurrency deposits.
Available funding methods depend on your account type, verification status, country, selected currency, and supported services.
You can fund your account in fiat, stablecoins, or cryptocurrency. For example, you can add funds in USD or EUR and send payouts in USDT using automatic conversion, or deposit USDT, USDC, BTC, ETH, or another supported cryptocurrency and send payouts directly from that balance.
See Add funds for available funding methods.
Recipient wallet requirements
Recipients do not need a Volet.com account.
Each recipient must provide a valid external crypto wallet address that supports the selected cryptocurrency and blockchain network.
Make sure the recipient's wallet supports the exact token and network used for the payout. For example, a USDT payout on Tron must be sent to a wallet that supports USDT TRC-20.
Sending funds to an incorrect address or unsupported network may result in permanent loss of funds.
Supported currencies and networks
Custodial crypto payouts support cryptocurrencies and stablecoins, including:
- USDT
- USDC
- BTC
- ETH
- XRP
- SOL
- TON
- TRX
- LTC
- BNB
- POL
- AVAX
USDT and USDC are available across multiple supported blockchain networks, including:
- Ethereum
- Tron
- BNB Chain
- Polygon
- Arbitrum
- Optimism
- Avalanche
- Solana
- TON
Other cryptocurrencies are sent through their native or supported blockchain networks.
See the full list on the Supported currencies and tokens page.
Choosing a blockchain network
For crypto and stablecoin payouts, the selected blockchain network can affect transaction cost, processing time, and recipient convenience.
| Goal | Common network choices | Notes |
|---|---|---|
| Low-cost payouts | BNB Chain, Tron, Polygon, Arbitrum, Optimism | Useful for frequent payouts and smaller amounts. Network fees are usually lower than on Ethereum. |
| Fast payouts | Solana, TON, Polygon, Arbitrum, Optimism, BNB Chain | Useful when recipients need funds quickly. Final timing still depends on network conditions and wallet confirmation rules. |
| Broad USDT support | Tron, Ethereum, BNB Chain | Useful when recipients cash out through exchanges, wallet apps, or local crypto services. |
| Large-value payouts | Bitcoin, Ethereum, Tron | Useful when recipients prefer widely supported networks, even if fees or confirmation times may be higher. |
Network fees and processing times may change depending on blockchain conditions. Always choose the network that is supported by the recipient's wallet or exchange.
Processing time
Crypto payout processing time has two parts:
- Volet.com processing. Volet.com validates the payout request, checks available balance, and prepares the blockchain transaction.
- Blockchain confirmation. After the transaction is broadcast, the selected blockchain network confirms the transfer.
Mass payout batches are processed in parallel where possible, so large batches can be completed faster than processing each payout sequentially.
Typical processing depends on the selected network:
| Network type | Typical use | Processing notes |
|---|---|---|
| Low-fee stablecoin networks | USDT or USDC payouts on Tron, BNB Chain, Polygon, Arbitrum, Optimism, Solana, or TON | Usually suitable for high-volume and smaller payouts. |
| Bitcoin and Ethereum | BTC, ETH, or ERC-20 payouts | May take longer or cost more during periods of high network activity. |
| Exchange deposit wallets | Payouts to recipient exchange accounts | The exchange may require additional confirmations before crediting the recipient. |
Exact processing time is not guaranteed and may vary depending on network load, blockchain confirmations, wallet provider rules, and compliance checks.
Currency conversion
You can send crypto payouts directly from the same cryptocurrency balance or use automatic conversion from another supported balance where available.
For example, you can:
- Fund your Volet.com account in USD or EUR and send payouts in USDT.
- Hold USDT or USDC and send payouts through another supported blockchain network.
- Hold BTC, ETH, or another cryptocurrency and send payouts directly without conversion.
For supported stablecoins, Volet.com uses unified balances across supported blockchain networks. This means you can hold one USDT or USDC balance and send payouts through different supported networks without maintaining separate balances or using bridges.
Fees
Processing fees start from 0.25% for custodial crypto payouts.
Blockchain network fees may also affect the total cost of sending payouts. Network fees depend on the selected blockchain network, token, and current network conditions.
Minimum payout amounts depend on the selected currency, network, and account limits.

How to enable
Step 1: Verify your account
You need a verified Volet.com account.
See:
Step 2: Create and configure an API
Create an API in the Payment Tools section of your Volet.com dashboard and enable permissions for crypto payouts.
If your payout flow uses automatic conversion from fiat or another balance, also enable the permissions required for conversion or exchanges.
See:
Step 3: Integrate the Mass Payout API
Use the Mass Payout API to create crypto payout requests, validate payout details, and retrieve transaction statuses.
See:
- Mass Payout API integration
- API reference
Always verify the recipient's blockchain address and network before confirming a payout. Sending crypto to the wrong address or on the wrong network may result in permanent loss of funds.
