Add funds
Top up your Volet.com account using a bank card or by sending crypto from an external wallet.
Before you start
- Some top-up methods require verification (KYC/KYB). The available methods are shown on the Add funds screen based on your verification status.
- Available withdrawal methods also depend on your account type and country. See below.
- Fiat wallets support USD and EUR.
- Crypto wallets support USDT, USDC, BTC, ETH, XRP, SOL, TRX, LTC, TON, and other assets. Supported cryptocurrencies and networks are listed on the Tokens and networks page.
Top up with a bank card
Add funds to your fiat wallet (USD or EUR) using a Visa or Mastercard. Available for both Personal and Business accounts.
- On the Deposit screen, choose Visa/MC.
- Enter your card details or select a previously linked card.
- Enter the top-up amount.
- Click the confirmation button. You are redirected to your bank's 3D Secure page.
- Complete the 3D Secure authorization (typically an SMS code or banking app confirmation).
- After authorization, you are returned to Volet.com.
Card top-ups are usually credited within seconds after successful authorization. If you are using a card for the first time, additional card verification may be required before the funds can be credited.
Card deposit requirements
- Only plastic cards issued in your name are accepted. Virtual cards are not supported.
- First-time card use may require additional card verification.
- You can use up to 3 different bank cards within a rolling 60-day period to deposit funds into your account.
If a card deposit is declined
If your bank rejects the deposit, check the following:
- 3D Secure must be enabled on your card.
- Online payments must be allowed for the card.
- Sufficient funds must be available on the card.
- Plastic card in your name — virtual cards are not accepted.
- Bank-side limits — the card must not have exceeded any daily or monthly limits set by your bank.
- MCC code 6051 — check with your bank that payments to Merchant Category Code 6051 (Quasi Cash) are not restricted.
Linked cards
After a successful card deposit, the card is added to your Linked cards list. You can manage saved cards from the Linked cards page — rename or remove them.
Top up with crypto
Transfer cryptocurrency from an external wallet to your Volet.com account. Available for both Personal and Business accounts.
- On the Add funds screen, scroll to the Crypto section and select the asset you want to receive -- for example, Tether (USDT), Bitcoin (BTC), or Ethereum (ETH).
- If the asset is available on multiple networks (such as USDT on TRC-20, ERC-20, or others), select the network that matches the one you will send from.
- Choose whether to receive the funds into the crypto wallet itself or convert them automatically into a supported fiat or stablecoin wallet.
- If you choose automatic conversion to a fiat or stablecoin wallet, enter the expected amount and click Continue.
- The screen displays your wallet address and a QR code.
- Copy the address or scan the QR code from your external wallet.
- Send the transfer from your external wallet using the copied address.
The transfer appears in your Volet.com account after the required number of blockchain confirmations, typically within 1--15 minutes depending on the network and its current load.
Always verify that the network you select in Volet.com matches the network you send from. Sending funds on the wrong network may result in permanent loss.
Some assets (such as XRP and TON) require a destination tag or memo in addition to the wallet address. If a tag is required, it appears as a separate field next to the address. Copy both the address and the tag into your external wallet when sending.
If you omit the destination tag, the funds may not be credited to your account. Recovery of such transfers is not guaranteed.
Deposits with automatic conversion
For deposits that include automatic conversion, the credited amount depends on the amount received and the exchange rate available at the time of processing.
If a payment arrives significantly later than expected, or the received amount differs from the expected amount, the transaction may be reviewed manually before funds are credited.
Track a deposit
You can monitor the status of card and crypto deposits from the Transactions page in your account.
Fees
For a full overview:
- See the Personal fees page for Personal account pricing.
- See the Business fees page for Business account pricing.
The exact fee applicable to your account is always shown before you confirm a transaction.
Limits
Deposit limits depend on your account type, verification status, payment method, currency, and recent transaction activity.
The minimum and maximum amounts available for a specific deposit are shown directly on the deposit form. These limits are calculated automatically and reflect your current account status and available allowances.
For a general overview of limits, see Limits.
