Send payouts to Volet.com users

Send payouts from your Volet.com account to other Volet.com users through the Mass Payout API.

Recipients receive funds directly to their Volet.com account balance. They can then hold, exchange, withdraw, or use the funds through available Volet.com services.

Payouts to Volet.com users are a custodial payout method. Funds are sent from your Volet.com account and processed internally within Volet.com.

Why use payouts to Volet.com users​

Many businesses need to pay recipients across countries where local payout infrastructure can be fragmented, expensive, or difficult to maintain.

Supporting separate local payout methods often requires multiple providers, regional integrations, and additional operational work.

Payouts to Volet.com users provide a single internal payout method for recipients who already use Volet.com or can create an account to receive funds.

This makes the method particularly useful for:

Because payouts are processed internally within Volet.com, they do not require blockchain confirmations or blockchain network fees.

How it works​

The payout flow:

  1. Fund your Volet.com account.
  2. Create a payout request through the API.
  3. Volet.com validates the recipient account and payout details.
  4. Funds are transferred from your Volet.com account to the recipient's Volet.com account.
  5. Your application retrieves the payout status and transaction details through the API.

Before you start​

To send payouts to Volet.com users, you need:

  • A verified Volet.com account.
  • A configured API in the Payment Tools section.
  • API permissions for payouts to Volet.com users.
  • Sufficient balance in your Volet.com account.
  • Recipient account details required by the API.

Recipient requirements​

The recipient must have a Volet.com account.

Depending on your payout flow, your application may need to validate the recipient account before creating the payout.

Available recipient features, wallet currencies, and withdrawal methods may depend on the recipient's country, account type, and verification status.

Payouts to Volet.com users support all currencies for which Volet.com wallets are available, including:

  • USD
  • EUR
  • USDT
  • USDC
  • BTC
  • ETH

Currency conversion​

You can send payouts from the same currency balance or use automatic conversion from another supported balance where available.

For example, you can fund your Volet.com account in USD or EUR and send payouts in USDT, BTC, ETH, or another supported currency.

You can also exchange funds between your own Volet.com wallets before creating payouts if your payout flow requires a specific payout currency.

How recipients can use funds​

Recipients who receive funds to their Volet.com account can later:

  • Withdraw to an external crypto wallet.
  • Withdraw to a card, where supported.
  • Withdraw to a bank account, where supported.
  • Keep funds in their Volet.com wallet.
  • Exchange funds between supported currencies.

Available withdrawal methods depend on the recipient's country, account type, verification status, and supported services.

Recipient verification requirements depend on the recipient's country, selected withdrawal method, and applicable limits. Some crypto withdrawals or withdrawals through exchangers may be available to recipients within standard limits, while bank and card withdrawals usually require account verification.

Many businesses use Volet.com account payments and payouts together. Funds received from customers can be used for contractor payouts, rewards, commissions, marketplace settlements, and other internal transfers.

Fees and minimum amounts​

Processing fees start from 0.5% for payouts to Volet.com users.

Internal transfers support payouts from as little as $1, depending on the selected currency and account limits.

Because transfers are processed internally within Volet.com, there are no blockchain network fees for this payout method.
